It’s time to look at what I consider the most anticipated Fantasy Romance Books for March.
Ā
I’ve included some February titles as well because this is a new section on the blog, so you don’t miss any important ones.
Ā
These are all books that I plan to read in the near future (one of them on release day!) and they all fit the vibe of this blog.
Ā
So if you enjoy my recommendations, you definitely need to check out these new fantasy romance books šĀ

Spending her days pretending to be nothing more than a vapid young socialite, Rune spends her nights as the Crimson Moth, a witch vigilante who rescues her kind from being purged. When a rescue goes wrong, she decides to throw the witch hunters off her scent and gain the intel she desperately needs by courting the handsome Gideon Sharpe – a notorious and unforgiving witch hunter loyal to the revolution – who she can’t help but find herself falling for.
The Crimson Moth reminds me a lot of Serpent & Dove.
Ā
A witch and a witch hunter; she hides her identity from him. They fall in love, but they also hate each other.
Whereas in Serpent & Dove there was an arranged marriage, here we have hidden identities as one of the main tropes.
I can’t wait to read this one!!
Blood is survival for seventeen-year-old Bly, who lives in the poverty-stricken human villages caught between enemy vampire and witch kingdoms. Most of the time, vampires and witches live in uneasy truce, buying human blood for their food and spells. But for two weeks a year, the ceasefire dissolves, and they hold the Revenant Games.
Ā
Any human can play in the games for either the witches or the vampires. Alongside life-changing riches, the witches will raise one person from the dead for whoever captures the highest-ranking vampire. In turn, the vampires offer immortality to whoever captures the most powerful witch. For most humans, the games are a ticket out of poverty. For Bly, itās a chance to get back her dead sister, Elise, and save the life of her dying best friend, Emerson.Ā
Ā
But when the vampire they capture stirs a passion in Bly that she hasnāt felt in a long time, sheāll have to make a choice: her sister or the boy whoās shown her thereās more to life than just survival.
The Revenant Games is my most anticipated read of March. I really have high hopes for this one.
Ā
The Revenants game occurs once a year, and our heroine needs to win so she can earn the coveted prize and resurrect her dead sister.
For this task, she has to capture the highest-ranked vampire, and she does so, but maybe she starts developing feelings for him in the meantime?
Ā
This is like enemies-to-lovers meets captive-captor trope WITH VAMPIRES (I adore vampires!!), and it sounds like my perfect book!!
Ā
Rest assured, I will be reading this jewel when it comes out on the 16th of March and updating about it in my newsletter!! (Yes, I give some exclusive content out there, psst, subscribe here š )
As the long-lost heir to the Jinn throne, Alizeh has finally found her peopleāand she mightāve found her crown. Cyrus, the mercurial ruler of Tulan, has offered her his kingdom in a twisted exchange: one that would begin with their marriage and end with his murder.
Cyrusās dark reputation precedes him; all the world knows of his blood-soaked past. Killing him should be easyāand accepting his offer might be the only way to fulfill her destiny and save her people. But the more Alizeh learns of him, the more she questions whether the terrible stories about him are true.
Ensnared by secrets, Cyrus has ached for Alizeh since she first appeared in his dreams many months ago. Now that he knows those visions were planted by the devil, he can hardly bear to look at herāmuch less endure her company. But despite their best efforts to despise each other, Alizeh and Cyrus are drawn together over and over with an all-consuming thirst that threatens to destroy them both.
Meanwhile, Prince Kamran has arrived in Tulan, ready to exact revengeā¦
All This Twisted Glory is the third (but not the last) book from the This Woven Kingdom Series.
Ā
I devoured the first two books, and this third installment is a must-read for Tahere Mafi fans (she is the author of the Shatter Me series featuring Aaron Warner, one of the most beloved book boyfriends on the planet, hehe).
Ā
She is the Queen of well-done love triangles and broken, damaged love interests.
Don’t miss this for anything in the world!!
The stars never lie.
Novalise has until the end of Midsummer to marry, but when fate binds her to a male who wants nothing to do with her, she finds herself uncertain of what to doāchoose a husband on her own or let her brother decide for her. When a notorious assassin arrives with a tempting solution to her problem, Novalise strikes a bargain in hopes of winning her mateās heart.
But one stolen kiss will change everything.
Asher wants nothing to do with love or the inevitable pain it brings, so when one fateful kiss reveals his mate, he immediately refuses to accept her. Until the female bound to him announces her engagement to a deadly assassin with a brutal reputation.
When he discovers a plot against the queen that puts Novalise in danger, Asher must decide whether to protect his own heart and walk away forever or challenge her betrothed in a fight he cannot win in hopes of re-claiming what he lost: her heart.
I’m very curious about this one!! A gaslamp fantasy (Regency + faes), All the Chaos of Constellations is all about arranged marriages, Fae Lords, and fake dating with Bridgerton vibes.
Filled with swoony, Bridgerton vibes, this spicy tale of unrequited love and fake dating brings you a broody fae lord and the darling fae lady determined to win his heartā¦
I’m ALWAYS in hte mood forĀ Regency fairytales so naturally this went straight to my TBR.
I have been a loyal servant to the fae crown my whole lifeāan arrangement that has kept me safe from the violence between our two racesā¦until I kill a fae noble.
Sentenced to death I beg the king for mercy and am shocked when it comes from the eldest prince who hates me.
But thereās a catchā¦
Now thrust into the role of my growly protectorās bride-to-be, I have to choose between playing along with this fake engagement or following my own heart to protect my people.
A human girl who strikes a deal with a grumpy Fae Prince to save her life… fake marriage… fated mates.
I just can’t ask for more.
Ā
Just like “All the Stars and Constellations,” “Until the Stars Fall” belongs to a series of interconnected standalones and is just the perfect read for a cozy night when you wish to immerse yourself in a fairytale.
Prince Oak is paying for his betrayal. Imprisoned in the icy north and bound to the will of a monstrous new queen, he must rely on charm and calculation to survive. With High King Cardan and High Queen Jude willing to use any means necessary to retrieve their stolen heir, Oak will have to decide whether to attempt regaining the trust of the girl heās always loved or to remain loyal to Elfhame and hand over the means to end her reignāeven if it means ending Wren, too.
With a new war looming on the horizon and treachery lurking in every corner, neither Oakās guile nor his wit will be enough to keep everyone he loves alive. Itās just a question of whom he will doom.
One of the most anticipated releases of the year, The Prisoner’s Throne marks the awaited conclusion of the duology with Oak as the protagonist (heir to Jude and Cardan).
Ā
But, let’s be honest, “The Stolen Heir” duology didn’t come close to the hype or popularity of the first series (best known as “The Cruel Prince” or the correct name, “The Folk of the Air”).
Ā
When Holly Black revealed that Jude and Cardan would make an appearance in this final book, chaos erupted.
Ā
And yes, sorry Oak, you are lovely, and I know many people are very fond of you, but I’m here for my favorite book boyfriend, top tier 1 by far, Cardan Greenbriar ;P
