The Best Fantasy Romance books on Kindle Unlimited feature image

Introduction

I curated this Book List containing the Best Fantasy Romance Books on Kindle Unlimited, with the intention of providing readers who are considering a Kindle Unlimited subscription a selection of titles ready to be enjoyed.

Kindle Unlimited wasĀ the solution for me to avoid wasting money on books that I otherwise wouldn’t be reading.

Additionally, if you’re a long-time KU subscriber you can also benefit from this Book List as well, with Titles that may not be in your TBR ( To-be-read-List) yet.

2026 Update

As you may know, KU rotates its list of titles quite often, so I made sure to update this list for 2026 — adding new titles and removing the ones that are no longer available.
PLUS, I also added some dark romance titles and highly popular non-fantasy romances that I honestly can’t believe are still on KU given how viral they went.
So, if you have a KU subscription or are thinking about getting one, this list will help you decide your next read!!

The Best Fantasy Romance Books on Kindle Unlimited

Table of Contents

What is Kindle Unlimited?

Kindle Unlimited is an E-book subscription service from Amazon. Kinda like Netflix but for books.

Ā

With Kindle Unlimited you have access to unlimited books and magazines each month, at no extra cost.

Ā

You can use Kindle Unlimited on any device. Just download the book you want from the Amazon app or Amazon website and it downloads automatically to your device.

Ā

You can download any book you want form the Kindle Unlimited catalog and there is no limit.

However, you’re limited to having up to 20 books checked out simultaneously. When you reach the maximum of 20 books, you’ll need to return one in order to download another Title.

Is Kindle Unlimited worth it?

If you are an avid reader like me, Kindle Unlimited is worth every dollar.

I read at least 10 books a month from Kindle Unlimited; therefore, my subscription is entirely worth the money (Kindle Unlimited costs $11.99).

Moreover, the fantasy romance genre and romance, in general, are among the most thriving genres in KU, providing a plethora of books to choose from and a HUGE variety.

Likewise, if you are more the casual reader type, Kindle Unlimited offers you the possibility to discover new authors and enjoy high-quality titles as well.

Spicy Fantasy and Contemporary Romances on Kindle Unlimited

Fantasy Romance stands out as one of the best niches for uncovering hidden gems on Kindle Unlimited.

I’ve curated a selection ofĀ  popular Spicy Fantasy Romance books available on Kindle Unlimited that you shouldn’t miss.

Ā

Update for 2026:

As I mentioned above, the titles available on KU rotate quite often — some become available and others leave the list.
This post is completely updated for 2026 with new titles in KU and I removed the ones that are no longer available.
PLUS I added some very juicy and delicious dark romances that are my all-time favourites as a good palate cleanser.
Because yes, I mostly read fantasy romances, but when I need to cleanse my palate I want a red flag the size of a mountain with psychopath traits. xD

From Book 1:Ā What’s the worst thing that can happen to a werewolf?
Unable to shift for three months,Ā Mateo Cruz knows all too well. His wolf has taken up residence in his head, taunting him night and day with vividly violent and carnal thoughts. Convinced he’s cursed, he needs the help of a powerful witch before he literally goes insane.
Evie SavoieĀ has always obeyed the house rules of her coven–no werewolves. They’re known for being moody and volatile. So, when a distempered, dangerous werewolf strolls in the bar and almost strangles one of her late-night customers, she’s ready to bounce him through the door. But the desperation in his eyes when he begs her to help him softens her heart and convinces her to bend the rules.
What Evie doesn’t know is that Mateo’s wolf has a mind of his own. And now that she’s in his sights, he wants only one thing.Ā Her.

Why you should read it

One of my favorite series BY FAR. Stay a Spell Series are a collection of interconnected spicy standalones featuring witches, werewolves, vampires, and other otherworldly creatures.

Ā

A cozy and very spicy urban fantasy. Each book is better than the last one. Go to Amazon now and just download all of them… you won’t regret it!!

A spicy fantasy romance story with lots of plot twists and who did this to you vibes

The fae abandoned this world to us. And the ones with power rule.

Gold.

Gold floors, gold walls, gold furniture, gold clothes. In Highbell, in the castle built into the frozen mountains, everything is made of gold.

Even me.

King Midas rescued me. Dug me out of the slums and placed me on a pedestal. I’m called his precious. His favored. I’m the woman he Gold-Touched to show everyone that I belong to him. To show how powerful he is. He gave me protection, and I gave him my heart. And even though I don’t leave the confines of the palace, I’m safe.

Until war comes to the kingdom and a deal is struck.

Suddenly, my trust is broken. My love is challenged, and I realize that everything I thought I knew about Midas might be wrong.

Ā

Why you should read it

I just can’t believe we are lucky enough to have this popular series available for free on Kindle Unlimited.

Ā

Gild presentsĀ an original story where nothing is as it seems, with a very unreliable narrator.

I strongly recommend avoiding any spoilers for this book to fully enjoy its plot twists.

Book 2, in particular, had me jumping out of my bed and oh my goodness, the plot twists!!!!Ā

Definitely a must-read!!

She falls in love with her stalker who is a molten lava flag

For Adeline Reilly, moving back to Seattle was supposed to be the perfect fresh start. With her flourishing career as an author, and the inheritance of her late grandmother’s gothic mansion, there is nothing to stand in her way.

But Adeline isn’t alone in Parson’s Manor.

It isn’t the angry souls haunting the hallways of her childhood home that Adeline fears–it’s the mysterious break-ins, roses appearing, and threatening messages that somehow sound more like eerie promises.

Adeline has a stalker.

Yet, she quickly discovers she’s not the first person in her family to fall victim to a shadow in pursuit.

Left behind are her great-grandmother’s haunting journals detailing the story of her own phantom, and subsequently, her brutal murder.

Parson’s Manor now holds more than just Adeline’s memories—it houses a grim future that could lead to history repeating itself.

If she doesn’t fall in love with her stalker first.

Why you should read it

What can I say about Haunting Adeline that hasn’t been said already… this duology is what made dark romance books explode and go fully viral on Bookstagram and BookTok. A must-read if you have KU. Dual POV.
An entry point for the dark romance genre (Haunting Adeline is not fantasy romance) and for my book besties who are already immersed in dark romance but haven’t tried this one yet… it has its merits hehe. Give it a try!

For humans and vampires, the rules of survival are the same: never trust, never yield, and always – always – guard your heart.

The adopted human daughter of the Nightborn vampire king, Oraya carved her place in a world designed to kill her. Her only chance to become something more than prey is entering the Kejari: a legendary tournament held by the goddess of death herself.

But winning won’t be easy amongst the most vicious warriors from all three vampire houses. To survive, Oraya is forced to make an alliance with a mysterious rival.

Everything about Raihn is dangerous. He is a ruthless vampire, an efficient killer, an enemy to her father’s crown… and her greatest competition. Yet, what terrifies Oraya most of all is that she finds herself oddly drawn to him.

But there’s no room for compassion in the Kejari. War for the House of Night brews, shattering everything that Oraya thought she knew about her home. And Raihn may understand her more than anyone – but their blossoming attraction could be her downfall, in a kingdom where nothing is more deadly than love.

Why you should read it

If you’re on Booktok or Bookstagram, I’m sure you’ve heard about The Serpent and the Wings of Night.

I remember seeing it on Kindle Unlimited and downloaded it without knowing about the hype.

I finished the book in one day!!

I love a good story with vampires and this one delivered. It has spicy, enemies-to-lovers dynamics, BIG plot twists, and good writing and pacing.

Paying for a subscription for Kindle Unlimited and not reading this one should be a crime.

Rina Kent is a New York Times, USA Today, and #1 bestselling author of all things dark romance.

Better known for writing unapologetic anti-heroes and villains, Rina weaves tales of characters you shouldn’t fall for but inevitably do. Her stories are laced with a touch of darkness, a splash of angst, and just the right amount of unhealthy intensity.

Deliciously Toxic (and possessive AF) men and women who think they can fix them

Why you should read it

Perfect if you’re looking for a palate cleanser. Yes, this is not even close to fantasy romance haha, but from time to time I love coming back to Rina Kent for a good red flag male lead. I love Rina Kent because she doesn’t quite fit inside mafia romance… her books are a mix between dark romance, slow burn, bully and contemporary romance. They’re dual POV and you have a lot of genres to choose from. From high school and college bully to full adults, there’s something for everyone. Be aware… her men are BEYOND red flags. They are molten lava flags that need therapy ASAP. I strongly recommend her Royal Elite series (high school bully romance… SO GOOD) and for a more adult series, Legacy of Gods is perfect as well! (college setting)

I’m a Gemini. Impulsive. Curious. Headstrong. A twin. Heir to a throne I know nothing about. And it turns out, I’m Fae.

But of course there’s a catch – all I have to do to claim my birth right is prove that I’m the most powerful supernatural in the whole of Solaria.Ā  But the bit they didn’t put in the brochure was that every single Fae in this Kingdom would claim my throne if they could.

The school they’ve sent me to is both dangerous as sh*t and one helluva party. Vampires bite weaker students in the corridors, the Werewolf pack has orgies in the Wailing Wood at every full moon and don’t even get me started on the dark and twisted ways the Sirens use their powers on people’s emotions, or how my sinfully tempting Cardinal Magic teacher hosts detentions that leave people needing therapy.

My biggest problem is the drool worthy Dragon shifter who has his eyes on my throne. He and his three psycho friends are determined to make my time here hell.

Ā

Why you should read it

Ā Although the popularity of Zodiac Academy has slightly decreased in 2024 it still stands as one of the best Fantasy Romances for readers who are new to the genre.

Ā

Featuring an academic setting with Harry Potter vibes, lots of gorgeous male love interests and two powerful heroines, Zodiac Academy serves as the perfect “comfort food” series.

FREE THE CROWS, FALLON, AND THEY WILL MAKE YOU QUEEN.

Until an oracle predicted my regal future, I’d never imagined myself rising above the curve of my round ears. After all, I was the magicless halfling loved by beasts but loathed by every pure-blooded faerie at court. Well . . . by all but one.

Dante Regio, prince of Luce, had owned my heart since he gave me my first kiss. If gathering a slew of iron relics could help me overthrow the current monarch and crown his brother to rule at my side, then treasure hunting I’d go.

If only the oracle had warned me what winged demon I was releasing into the world.

And that I’d become this demon’s obsession.

Why you should read it

House of Beating Wings definitely needs more hype, and I’m here to convince you to read it.

A girl who is forced to go on a quest with an annoying talking crow to find some relics to release a powerful demon? Sign me in!!

If you are seeking a book with Fourth Wing vibes, love triangles and hidden identities grab this one ASAP.Ā

Miryem is the daughter and granddaughter of moneylenders, but her father’s too kind-hearted to collect his debts. They face poverty, until Miryem hardens her own heart and takes up his work in their village. Her success creates rumours she can turn silver into gold, which attract the fairy king of winter himself. He sets her an impossible challenge – and if she fails, she’ll die. Yet if she triumphs, it may mean a fate worse than death. And in her desperate efforts to succeed, Miryem unwittingly spins a web which draws in the unhappy daughter of a lord.

Irina’s father schemes to wed her to the tsar – he will pay any price to achieve this goal. However, the dashing tsar is not what he seems. And the secret he hides threatens to consume the lands of mortals and winter alike. Torn between deadly choices, Miryem and Irina embark on a quest that will take them to the limits of sacrifice, power and love.

Why you should read it

Yay! A monster romance!! I love mixing monster romances into my readings, both as a palate cleanser and because I adore when the heroine can’t communicate with the monster (language barrier trope FTW!!!) due to being different species.

This happens, of course, in Whispers of the Deep. One of the surprises of the year for me. Definitely recommend!!

Steamy slow burn enemies to lovers

For years, when I fell asleep, I dreamed of a man with blazing green eyes and a cruel smile.

The day I meet him, the ruthless mercenary leaves me for dead.

Just hours after humans are born, the gods take what little power we have. In return, they protect our borders from the vicious, merciless fae.

The humans who manage to keep their power are known as the corrupt.
And they are burned.

When my forbidden power is discovered, I’m forced to flee my tiny village and the life I adore.

To survive, I make a desperate bargain with the mercenary who abandoned me at my weakest.

Our deal is simple: I’ll help him and his mysterious friends sneak into the city. And he’ll help me learn to wield the strange, dark power I’ve always kept hidden. The power that may just be the key to my survival.

But the ruthless mercenary is hiding secrets of his own. Secrets that threaten the safety of everyone I love. Secrets that could tear this kingdom—and perhaps even this world—apart.

Why you should read it

I know ..the title of this book is just your generic “A Court of…”insert name here” but trust me on this one..this one is GOOD..despite its nameĀ

A Court this Cruel and Lovely maintains a very good pace throughout the whole book, with no dull moments whatsoever.

Ā

It’s more towards the NA ( New Adult) side, and although it incorporates ALL the tropes, they are executed so well that you’ll be craving for more.

Besides..who doesn’t love a possessive an arrogant male character?Ā

Isekai ( Portal romance). Hilarious spicy fantasy with regency vibes and vampires

What’s worse than editing the stupidest romance novel ever written? Getting stuck inside of it.Ā Karalynn DonnellyĀ has somehow been transported intoĀ Eternal Passion at Sunset, a vampire love story filled with enough clichĆ©s, anachronisms, and run-on sentences to drive any hardworking book editor insane.

To make matters worse, Kara accidentally prevents the story’s hero and heroine from meeting. Now Slade, the idiot Vampire King, thinksĀ Kara’sĀ his destined mate. If she’s going to find her way home, Kara needs to get this story back on track. But, teaming up withĀ Damien, the novel’s handsome, super-powered bad guy might not be the best place to start…

Why you should read it

This is an oldie… but goodie!! And LOOK AT THAT COVER, just gorgeous!!!

Not Another Vampire Book is simply HILARIOUS. An isekai (time travel or portal romance story) where our heroine travels to the most absurdly written romance novel.

Ā

Korean manhwa readers are going to be very familiar with this premise, but I believe everyone seeking a fantasy romance novel, especially those who enjoy a good laugh at common genre plot devices, will love this hidden gem.

Roman inspired world with vampires medium spice and yearning

Life in the perilous Thorn district is a constant battle for Arvelle and her younger brothers. And the vampire standing on her doorstep is about to turn their world upside down.

Faced with an unthinkable choice, Arvelle makes a magically binding vow to do the impossible: kill the emperor, an ancient vampire created by the god Umbros. But first, she must enter the Sundering—an arena where only the fastest, strongest, and deadliest survive long enough to be selected for the emperor’s elite guard.

She quickly draws the ire of the Primus, the powerful figure charged with protecting the emperor. But the vampire under the armor is the last person Arvelle expects to encounter in the emperor’s court.

With her brothers’ lives in the balance, Arvelle has no choice but to ally with the man who once shattered her heart… and with the emperor’s sadistic son, Rorrik—two vampires whose motives are impossible to pin down. Rorrik holds the key to understanding the powers Arvelle is developing—abilities that would put a price on her head if discovered by the emperor.

To survive the arena and complete her mission, Arvelle must get to the bottom of a conspiracy that will change everything she thought she knew about herself—and the two vampires who are deeply entwined with her destiny…

Why you should read it

Why this book is still on Kindle Unlimited is beyond me. Usually when books get highly popular they leave KU, because selling them normally is more profitable for the author. Stacia Stark is also the author of A Court This Cruel and Lovely , another hit series that’s in KU as well.

We Who Will Die is set in a Roman-inspired world ruled by… VAMPIRES YEAH!! Arvelle, the FMC, needs to kill the emperor, and to get close enough to do that she needs to enter a contest, the Sundering , where she will meet the man who broke her heart and the evil and sadistic emperor’s son.

Over the top grumpy sunshine. Spicy

When the empire’s deadliest fae murderer catches her wielding forbidden magic, twenty-year-old Emelin believes her hour has come. Instead, her inhumanly beautiful captor spares her life, but carries her off on his velvet wings – into the one place from which no human ever returns.

The heart of the Fae Isles. The treacherous Crimson Court, where the Mother of faekind has ruled unchallenged over fae and humans for decades.

The Silent Death is supposed to be the Mother’s loyal servant, her invincible warrior, her ruthless, soulless killer. But in the shadows he is playing a game of his own, and he needs Emelin’s magic to win it.

If she agrees to work with him, she could free all of humanity. But can she trust a fae male with so much blood on his hands? Worse, when his smouldering dark eyes and dangerous secrets reveal glimpses of the heart behind his murderer’s mask… can she trust herself?

Court of Blood and BindingsĀ is the first book of the Fae Isles series, an enemies to lovers fantasy romance featuring a strong-willed heroine and a broody, morally grey hero. This adult fae romance is perfect for readers of Sarah J. Maas, Jennifer L. Armentrout and Raven Kennedy.

Why you should read it

The most popular series by Lisette Marshall, and for good reason.

Court of Blood and Bindings features a highly original magic system and well-thought worldbuilding.

Ā

Lisette Marshall’s books are always filled with excellent banter and tension. This one, in particular, leans a bit towards the slow-burn side but you can count on a couple of over-the-top spicy scenes.

Ā

Perfect for fans of morally grey Fae with wings and the grumpy sunshine trope.Ā

No spice ( clean ) Fantasy Romances

A witch hunter who is forced into a marriage with a witch. Hidden identities

Two years ago, Louise le Blanc fled her coven and took shelter in the city of Cesarine, forsaking all magic and living off whatever she could steal. There, witches like Lou are hunted. They are feared. And they are burned.

As a huntsman of the Church, Reid Diggory has lived his life by one principle: Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. But when Lou pulls a wicked stunt, the two are forced into an impossible situation—marriage.

Lou, unable to ignore her growing feelings, yet powerless to change what she is, must make a choice. And love makes fools of us all.

Why you should read it

Serpent & Dove holds a very special place in my heart. I didn’t like the second book, but you can read the first one as a standalone since their romance is kind of resolved in book one.
She’s a witch, he’s a demon hunter. Ok, familiar premise… but this book is highly popular because the chemistry between them is from another world. A great example of grumpy sunshine trope with the MMC being a delicious golden retriever.

Gaslamp fantasy romance, arranged marriage and found family trope

Mating is a matter of politics for Night, not the heart. To prevent a forced union that will plunge the Lunar Court into war, he must find and bond his true mate.

When he lays eyes on Rain, he knows the shy forest witch is the bond mate he’s been searching for. Unprepared for the intensity of his attraction, Night makes an offer that would keep his priorities straight and his court safe: a marriage of convenience. Any eligible woman—mortal and immortal alike—would leap at the chance to become the powerful duke’s bride.

But Rain isn’t interested.

She’s lived outside of society too long to ever fit into Night’s world of shapeshifting tricksters and back-stabbing politicians. And Rain demands more than the trappings of marriage. She wants a match with heart.

Night doesn’t have the luxury of time to change his mate’s mind. War looms closer and the Lunar Court is caught in the middle. Out of options, the fae duke sees only one choice.

Kidnap his bride.

Why you should read it

A cosy read. If you are a fan of Jane Austen, this book is the ideal pick for you.Ā

Court of Tricksters features delightful banter and captures the essence of Jane Austen’s style. You get all the juicy interactions from Pride & Prejudice combined with Faes and magical creatures.Ā

Ā

The male lead is completely infatuated with the heroine, and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to have her within his grasp ( that includes kidnappingĀ  🚩🚩)Ā

Touch her and you die, steamy enemies to lovers and hidden identities

Destiny or desire?

Where does your allegiance lie?

I am told my union to the crowned prince will determine the fate of the kingdom, but it isn’t my betrothed who haunts my dreams. It’s the half-breed prince who stands at his side.

He is darkness and sin, and when he whispers promises of wickedness in my ear, I crave a man who I can’t have.

Every thought I have is treasonous. The way my hands ache to touch him deceitful.

Even my dreams make me a traitor to the kingdom I am sworn to protect.

But when the kingdom is attacked, I am forced to make choices I’m not prepared for. Our lies and deception are entangled in the shadows and stars, and as they unravel so shall my fate. Betray a kingdom or betray my heart.

Why you should read it

For fans of From Blood and Ash and featuring a highly angsty love triangle, A Kingdom of Stars and Shadows has everything I like in a fantasy romance book:

  • Strong worldbuildingĀ
  • Two love interests, one of them morally grey possessive and sexy. ( DO you see a trend here ??Ā  I don’t care give me all the red flags!! )
  • Spice, spice, and more spiceĀ

Ā

I devoured this one in one night because it was just so much fun, and the cliffhanger..!! ARGH. I was lucky enough because all the books in this series are available on Kindle Unlimited so I promptly downloaded the next one right away hehe.

Steamy academic rivals. FAE rom-com

Two rival writers.
One prestigious publishing contract.
They say never bargain with the fae. They also say don’t get drunk on fae wine. Yet twenty-nine-year-old spinster Edwina Danforth has managed a blunder with both on her first visit to the infamous faelands. Now the author is trapped in a magic-fueled bet she barely remembers with a man she’d be happier to forget. The terms? Whoever can bed the most lovers during their month-long dueling book tour wins a coveted publishing contract.Ā

Why you should read it

This one hasn’t even been published, and I need to read it SO BAD. The premise just seems to be the type of comfort read I adore. Romcom vibes mixed with Faes? Sign me in!!

Ā

Of course, I was going to share this book release alert with all of you :))

Clean Victorian-inspired fantasy romance with banter and faery bargains

London, 1848—For four hundred years, England has been under the control of an immortal fae queen who tricked her way onto the throne. To maintain an illusion of benevolence, Queen Mor grants each of her subjects one opportunity to bargain for their deepest desire.

As Ivy Benton prepares to make her debut, she knows that not even a deal with the queen could fix what has gone wrong: Her family’s social standing is in shambles, her sister is a shadow of her former self, and Ivy’s marriage prospects are nonexistent. So when the queen announces a competition for Prince Bram’s hand, Ivy is the first to sign her name in blood. What a bargain can’t fix, a crown certainly could.

Ivy soon finds herself a surprising front-runner—with the help of an unexpected ally: Prince Bram’s brother, the rakish Prince Emmett, who promises to help Ivy win his brother’s heart…for a price. But as the season sweeps Ivy away, with glittering balls veiling the queen’s increasingly vicious trials, Ivy realizes there’s more at stake than just a wedding. Because all faerie bargains come with a cost, and Ivy may have discovered hers too late.

Why you should read it

Wow… another one that is highly popular on BookTok. Fae bargains, a contest to win the prince’s heart, a love triangle, 1800s setting (with a clear endgame MMC)… what more can a girl ask for?
Highly recommended if you want something with cozy and regency era vibes!

Ā

Pride & Prejudice with fae. Exquisite banter and slow burn

Living on an island plagued by magic and mythical monsters isn’t a fairy tale… it’s a nightmare.

After Keelynn witnesses her sister’s murder at the hands of the legendary Gancanagh, an immortal creature who seduces women and kills them with a cursed kiss, she realizes there’s nothing she wouldn’t do to get her back. With the help of a vengeful witch, she’s given everything she needs to resurrect the person she loves most.

But first, she must slay the Gancanagh.

Tadhg, a devilishly handsome half-fae who has no patience for high society—or propriety—would rather spend his time in the company of loose women and dark creatures than help a human kill one of his own.

That is until Keelynn makes him an offer he can’t refuse.

Together, they embark on a cross-country curse-breaking mission that promises life but ends in death.

Why you should read it

In my continuous search for hidden Kindle Unlimited gems, I stumbled upon A Cursed Kiss and became totally captivated by its beautiful characters and cozy ambience.

Ā

This is a fantasy historical romance with Victorian-era vibes ( gaslamp fantasy ) and what’s wonderful about this series is that you always get the first book from the heroine’s POV and the next one from the love interest POV.

Ā

I genuinely enjoyed this dynamic, and after reading the first book, I immediately downloaded the second one to delve into the male POV.

It’s the perfect read for Jane Austen fans who crave for good banter and Fae in the mix.Ā

Clean Slow burn enemies to lovers with sorcerers

Vhalla Yarl is content as an apprentice in the imperial library — tucked safely away with her books from the feared Tower of Sorcerers and their dangerous magic. She wants nothing to do with sorcery, power, or war.

Until the Crown Prince returns from the warfront on the verge of death.

Desperate to save him, Vhalla draws upon air magic — a rare elemental power thought lost to time. A magic so dangerous it could turn the tide of a brutal war. A magic Vhalla never knew she possessed.

Now the sorcerers want to train her. The empire wants to claim her. And the Crown Prince — brooding, brilliant, dangerous— has made her his obsession.

Thrown into a world of power and intrigue, Vhalla must navigate forbidden desires, clandestine meetings, court politics, and a magic bond with the most dangerous man alive. The closer she grows to the last man she should want, the more impossible her choice becomes.

Her power or her love. Her duty or her heart. The life she thought she thought she wanted… or the one she was destined for.

Why you should read it

Air Awakens has a lot of worldbuilding, magic, princes and academies. It’s fast paced and quite beloved by the book community. With a rich worldbuilding, clear magic rules and high stakes, is a very good read if you are in the mood for a well developed story. Give it a try!!

From Book 1:

So here’s the deal—I’m a magical disaster. A witch from a family of witches, and the only one whose magic blows up in her face. Which is why I came up with my rules…

1. Never get involved with magic

2. If you must get involved, do not enter a competition to win the biggest magical fortune in England

3. And definitely don’t fall for Callan Hawthorne, the sexy billionaire mage who you’ve hated for years

So how the heck do I end up in a situation that promises to break all those rules? It’s the only way to save Seaside Spells, my family’s magical potion shop.

But it’s cool. When I go back home to Charming Cove—a village of ancient pubs and foul-mouthed familiars—I will totally ignore Witch Weekly’s Sexiest Man of the Year. I’ll win the competition, and if I’m lucky, I won’t turn myself into a toad in the process.

This’ll be fine. It’ll all be fine.

Riiiight.

Why you should read it

Witches, vampires, dukes—add in some fake dating and magic, and you’ve got the ideal mix for a heartwarming fantasy romance series of interconnected standalones. It’s the perfect companion for those chilly winter days when you crave a cozy and fuflly read.
